ACADEMY DESCRIPTION:
A 3 part webinar series exploring contributing factors and tools for addressing the impact of trauma on teachers and school administrators. Webinars will be facilitated in a real-time virtual meeting platform. Instruction will be interactive, offering a dual approach of didactic learning and coaching instruction with participants. Participants Participants will be able to identify and distinguish behaviors associated with, and contributing factors for the development of PTSD, Secondary Traumatic Stress, Vicarious Trauma, Moral Distress, Burn Out and Compassion Fatigue. You'll learn how to support and manage personnel and direct reports exhibiting behaviors and responses to those conditions. Each of the three weeks will have a reading assignment followed by a one-hour mastermind/coaching session to discuss the readings plus how to implement them within the context of your school or district. $199

INSTRUCTOR:
Lisa Dinhofer , MA, CT is The Crisis Tamer. She works with subject matter and circumstances most people turn away from. Lisa mentors companies past traumatic events, workplace abuse and disastrous communications to regain stability, build resilience and establish a new normal. Lisa was an employee at the World Trade Center during the 1993 bombing and was still working in NYC during 9/11. She draws from those first hand experiences of trauma in the workplace and lessons learned from other workplace tragedies. Lisa is a certified Thanatologist, trained counselor and communication expert with over 18 years of professional experience training, consulting, coaching and speaking on effective messaging and situational management for: traumatic or unexpected loss, workplace bullying and sexual harassment, difficult conversations and unintended outcomes, chronic conflict and performance development within high intensity front-line occupations and business environments. Lisa has extensive experience working with child abuse and pediatric homicide from a background in anatomical donation and as a medical examiner liaison. She frequently provides training and emergency debriefing following high impact cases for Child Protective agencies and their collaborative law enforcement and prosecutorial divisions. |
