TeachIllinois often partners with other providers of Professional Development that are noteworthy. Check out our current list of partners below. For these partnership opportunities, you will actually take the PD from them ON THEIR OWN PLATFORM. Once you have completed it there, come back to our LMS, find the course that corresponds to theirs, and turn your certificate into official PD Hours.
K-12 Coaching Series with Greenville University
Designed for K-12 athletic coaches, this series of courses is designed to deepen your understanding of the role of the coach in youth sports/extracurriculars and to hone your skills in all aspects of your coaching role. Topics include character education, leadership & evaluation, coaching methodology, skills analysis, race/gender/equity, parents, and K-12 program development.
Each course stands on its own, offers PD Hours, and gives a preview of courses in the Greenville University Coaching Masters Program. Together, they are available for Greenville graduate credit. First session starts 8/31/2020, and subsequent courses run about monthly through August, 2021. No prerequisites. Join for one, some, or all. From $35 each, graduate credit additional. ENROLL |
Hive Summit 2020 from Michael Matera
Back for the 2020 Edition! TeachIllinois has partnered with Michael Matera to provide PD Hours for his HiveSummit starting in August, 2020.
Enroll and listen to the speakers on his site, then come back to TeachIllinois to turn your certificate of attendance into an Illinois Evidence of Completion form for just $5. If your a Matera fan, stay tuned for more information on how to catch him as the keynote speaker of the Directions Conference on June 8, 2021 (which will most likely be virtual - details soon!) Educator Alexander Webinar Series
Educator Alexander is hosting FREE webinars most Saturdays throughout the summer on topics from building your own app to sign language. These live webinars are hosted through her website. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate that you will need to upload into TeachIllinois.
Dr. Desirée Alexander is an educational consultant who works with different school districts and companies to aid teachers and employees in integrating technology, education leadership, and branding themselves and their schools. She provides services and professional developments on a variety of topics, including technology, certification test preparation, leadership, instruction, classroom management, classroom/office organization, and library media services. |
Matt Miller's Ditch Summit 2020
The Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit is a FREE online conference for teachers, starting on December 21, 2019 and closing on January 8, 2020. It brings together some of the brightest minds in education to discuss technology, pedagogy and more. Watch helpful, inspiring videos with top-notch educators.
Join the DitchSummit and watch the videos on their website. Once you download your Certificates of Completion, you can upload them in the corresponding course on TeachIllinois. To get started, click on the red 'Log Into TeachIllinois' button below. From there, either create a free account or login to your existing account. Once in the system, find the course that matches the Summit video you watched. You'll need the certificate downloaded as a PDF from the DitchSummit site. |
The Directions Conference |
The annual New Directions in Education Conference provides the best national speakers and presenters at an affordable rate and a central location. TeachIllinois partners with the Directions Conference to extend some of the workshops into the online space so that learning can become embedded and last longer than the 2 days of the conference.
Past workshop extensions have included Mindfulness, Building Your PLN, and others. |
CoTeacher's Master Teacher Collective
Daniel Fountenberry, CEO of CoTeacher, and Matt Weld of TeachIllinois have teamed up to provide a community for teachers teaching within the 13 counties of Area 5 in Southwestern Illinois. These master teachers were nominated by their administrators and come from urban, suburban, and rural schools. The goal of this collective is to provide a space for teachers to learn and grow with each other, sharing tips, tricks, and resources using CoTeacher's new Google Drive integration. TeachIllinois provides the platform for teachers to share their learning in a supportive environment.

TEAMS Integration
TeachIllinois is proud to be a PD provider for The Evaluations and Assets Management (TEAMS) application. As evaluators in this powerful, mobile tool collaborate with their teachers, resources within TeachIllinois can be accessed from within the TEAMS platform to help educators meet their professional growth goals connected to the Danielson Framework.
Soon, TEAMS members will have free access to select paid courses within our LMS. For more information on the industry's most comprehensive Teacher, Principal, and Staff evaluation platform, check out their website or this flyer. |
The National Autism Academy
The National Autism Academy helps parents of children with autism create practical solutions that lead to consistent and repeatable success, reduced frustration and more joy and peace in their family life. NAA has also launched a series of online courses for educators. The teaching strategies outlined in these courses will benefit ALL learners, not just those diagnosed with ASD. The NAA has partnered with Lindenwood University to offer graduate credits that are accepted by most Illinois districts for salary advancement (be sure to contact your district office to determine your district's policy!).
The National Autism Academy offers eight on-line courses each at the cost of $40.

Strobel Education / Kim Strobel, Happiness Coach
Kim Strobel is a former teacher and administrator. She currently works as an educational consultant, life coach, and happiness coach. She travels the US helping teachers and administrators in all aspects of education. This year, her work focuses on Growth Mindset, Genius Hour, Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms, and Standards Based Grading. Click on the image below to register for one of these courses.
